The MasterCard Foundation Scholars program at Michigan State University for Masters students is open to students who have already completed a bachelor’s degree at an African university and are residents or citizens of an African country.

The Scholarship program seeks to provide extensive support for the completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree. UNCR-MERCK Undergraduate Science Research Scholarship Awards were designed to assist those talented African American undergraduate students interested in science to further their education and pursue science careers.

Every UNCF-Merck Undergraduate Fellow will be mentored by a Merck scientist and will receive two Summer Research Internships with minimum allowance of up to $10,000. One Internship will hold during the summer following the junior year and the other in the summer after graduation.
