Police have named a man over a series of “really nasty assaults” on strangers – which saw a teenager stamped on and woman struck with a vodka bottle.
Jardel Faure, aged 23 and from Cradley Heath, was part of a three-strong group who attacked at least five people on the evening of October 21, West Midlands Police believe.
The attacks were said to have taken place in Stourbridge, Brierley Hill and at Merry Hill bus station.
West Midlands Police revealed last month how a teenage boy was repeatedly punched and kicked at Merry Hill bus station, on October 21.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We’re asking for help to find Jardel Faure who’s wanted over a series of really nasty assaults on random people in the Black Country.
“Faure is believed to have been part of a three-strong group who attacked at least five people on the evening of 21 October, including a woman who was hit across the head with a vodka bottle.
“It started at around 6pm in Stourbridge High Street when a man was kicked and bitten in the street before the group got on a bus to Brierley Hill.
“A woman was verbally abused by the men in Dudley Road and then struck with a bottle. Her partner and another man were also attacked when they came to her aid.
“And later a 16-year-old boy was bitten and kicked to the ground before being stamped on in Merry Hill bus station.”
West Midlands Police said it had already arrested two men, aged 19 and 25, in connection with the “seemingly motiveless attacks”.
The men are now on police bail with strict conditions.
