Tabitha Brown, a vegan influencer, has had a meteoric rise to the top when her TikTok followers discovered her and fell in love with her infectious personality and how-to vegan food videos.
Her freshly released book, Feeding the Soul (Because It’s My Business): Finding Our Way to Joy, Love, and Freedom, has made The New York Times Best-Sellers List. The book is actually number one!
Brown made the exciting announcement in a heartfelt video that she shared on her Facebook page.
“I just got off the phone with my team! My book made the New York Times Best Sellers List! But not just that, I’m number one! I’m number one! You know how sometimes you do stuff, and you do it with no expectation? And then God just blows your mind, honey! That’s the moment I’m in, honey. I did it with no expectation,” she wrote.
“I’m still kind of in a moment of shock. And I was kinda like, what does that mean? I don’t even know what to say. Thank y’all for buying my book, and for supporting me, and telling people about me. I’m so thankful. I can’t even believe my life right now, y’all. I just can’t even believe it. It’s just a long time coming,” she added.
Brown’s popularity began with her TikTok social media uploads, which propelled her to heights previously unseen among musicians, dancers, and performers. Her sweet, Southern, and accessible culinary style has earned her a devoted social media following who have become like family.
Brown stated in July that she’d managed to “retire” her husband, a 15-year Los Angeles police officer. Chance Brown, her husband, may enjoy the benefits of retirement sooner than intended, thanks to her success as a vegan influencer and now a personality.
Brown has had nothing but “Sunshine” since creating her own seasoning blend with seasoning manufacturer McCormick earlier this summer. The seasoning is a salt-free, Caribbean-influenced, bright, warm blend, inspired by Brown and her vegan recipes. The new product, which costs $14.95 for a 2-pack, is only available only on mccormick.com.
