Healthcare Under Threat: Project 2025 Impact

Project 2025 outlines policy changes that could significantly impact healthcare for Black individuals. The plans aim to destabilize how we access care. This could undo years of hard work toward better health in our communities. These changes threaten the very foundation of health equity we have fought for. Consequently, the potential impact could be devastating for many Black families.

One major proposal involves repealing the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Repealing the ACA would directly affect insurance coverage for many. Reducing funding for Medicaid is also part of the plan. Furthermore, the plan targets specific programs designed to address health disparities. Eliminating these initiatives would likely worsen health outcomes for African Americans. Education and Economic Barriers: Project 2025 Agenda

The proposals seem poised to weaken protections against police misconduct. They also suggest measures that could lead to more discriminatory penalties.
